H.R. 3962 (Healthcare Bill) Passes the U.S. House of Representatives
Search on any engine and you will find that H.R. 3962 by a vote of 220 to 215 and is now one step closer to law.
I genuinely feel despair.
- Demand for health services will boom.
- Supply will not keep up.
- Private insurers will be forced to raise prices due to regulation and demand, which will be mandated.
- Private insurers will be taxed even more to fund government spending.
- Private insurers will be slowly run out of business by "The Public Option" which grants itself a 20% discount, price fixes where private insurers cannot, and is tax supported.
- Treatment costs will rise.
- Denail of services will be mandated to compensate.
- Treatment options will decrease.
- Direct taxes will be implemented.
- Lifestyle taxes on items like meat, soft drinks, alcohol, and sweets will be imposed.
- The cost of vegetable produce will soar.
- The price of all goods will greatly increase, as business will compensate for the loss in revenue from extra costs they incur through government mandate in higher prices for their goods.
- Higher labor costs/tax codes will continue to fuel outsourcing and push business out of the U.S.A.
- Unemployement will remain at higher levels than in the past no matter the economic conditions.
- Tax-evasion will increase.
- Taxes will not be inflation adjusted, meaning that more citizens will continually enter ever higher tax brackets despite their real incomes only having deminished through inflation.
- Tax revenue will gradually shrink despite an ever growing percentage of citizens no longer being exempted, whether poor or rich.
- The IRS and other enforcement agencies will bloat in size to harvest all of the new taxes and compensate for loss of compliance.
- Taxes will be increased to fund these peripheral agencies.
- The IRS will be able to invade every aspect of your finances and personal life in search of taxes--without warrant.
- Your personal medical records will now be government property.
- All medical personel are now defacto Federal employees.
- Unions and special interests will be able to exert more control over everyone's lives(easier to influence a few representatives than an entire nation).
- Thievery is now legal through class warfare.
- Resistance will ensue in loss of wealth (fines), liberty (jail), and ultimately, loss of life (resorting to violent resistance).
- You are now a vassal of the state merely by birth, and will be indebted and controled until the day you die.
The proliterate and elite rejoice in unison.
Serfdom is reborn.

Words of Wisdom
"The most dangerous person on earth is an arrogant intellectual who lacks the humility necessary to see that society needs no masters and cannot be planned from the top down. An intellectual lacking humility can become a tyrant — and an accomplice in the destruction of civilization itself."

Department of Justice Rules that Blacks are Incapable of Being Elected
Recently, the Department of Justice ruled that the town of Kinston N.C. would not be permitted to have "non-partisan" elections. This means that candidates would no longer have a party label associated with their name on the ballot, and would stand on their message alone. According to an official statement by the DOJ, Elections must remain partisan because the change's "effect will be strictly racial." In essence, black people cannot be elected unless fronted by the Democratic party.
The then acting head of the Justice Department's civil rights division, Loretta King, wrote in a letter to the city."Removing the partisan cue in municipal elections will, in all likelihood, eliminate the single factor that allows black candidates to be elected to office."
This comes despite the town having a strong history of voting overwhelmingly for democratic candidates in a town with 2/3 of its population being black. This precident has many implications. The Department of Justice is exercising unconstitutional power to not only force political affiliations, but on the concept that black Americans cannot be elected otherwise.
What do you think? Are black Americans not electable on the basis of their individual views? Is it moral/ethical/legal to force someone to declare a political association? In what ways is this edict simular to existing Affirmitive Action laws?

If it Won't Send Me to the Hospital, it's Edible.
Guy: "I ate the stuff you made that was stinking up the fridge for the last couple of days."
Girlfriend: "Why didn't you just throw it away?"
Guy: "I was hungry..."Is this solving two problems at once with the added benefit of not having to cook, or just gross?

The Liberty Bell Tolls for Thee!
On September 12, 2009, a massive march on Washington D.C. moved to protest what is being felt around the country as an oppressive and bloated government intervening unheeded into their daily lives. There has been fierce speculation online as to the actual number of attendees ranging from 50,000 to 2,000,000. While many with agendas on both sides will play with numbers, compare the official U.S. Park Service estimate for the Obama inaguration to this photo taken of the rally and decide for yourself.
What your take on the current state of the nation?
